So there’s a fun little fact game making its way around the photography community. My friends Christina Louvierre and the girls at Anne Marie Photography both tagged me today. That means I have to write 8 facts about myself and then tag 8 of my fellow photographers to blog 8 things about themselves.
1) I’m not really a fan of doing fact things like this, but I do them anyway.
2) I LOVE America’s Next Top Model!
3) I’m a self proclaimed copy cat. I constantly see what other photographers (weddings or others) are doing. Then I take the ideas that I see and adapt them to fit my style. There’s nothing new under the sun!
4) I have 6 toes on my left foot.
5) Not really, but I had you going for a minute!
6) I’m looking to take on another photographer soon. Let me know if you or someone you know may be interested.
7) I have food texture issues
8) um…If I weren’t a photographer, I would be a crab fisherman on Deadliest Catch! OK, maybe not, but I love that show!
TAG! YOU’RE IT!
1) Kara Singleton
2) Jamie Weiss
3) Claire Presnall
4) Steven Bridges
5) Chris Hoopes
6) Julie Mallett
7) Bill Waldorf
8) Amanda Taylor
I’m catching up! This is Brennan Chitwood. His mom called me to do some 1 year old pictures of him. We had a good time. Happy Birthday Brennan!

When I was a junior at Carson-Newman, I decided to be an RA. They put me on a hall with 50 freshman girls. I have to say that I got pretty lucky with the girls they put on my hall. Bekah is one that run into from time to time. We actually were on the same flag football team for 2 years, two intramural championship years that is. GO COYOTES! Of course I jumped at the chance to shoot her wedding when she called me back in March. She was one of the most calm brides I’ve ever had. She was trying so hard to stay calm that she was actually whispering. Here are a couple from her wedding to Eric last weekend.
Here’s to you Sydney, Anissa, and Aubrey! Way to make it through your first year! No, these girls are not triplets, but they might as well be. They were all born within a week of each other to some of my old coworkers. I think that a kid’s first birthday party is so much fun. Especially when you share it with close friends. Way to go “Pea Pod”!
A couple of weeks ago, I shot the Bruce Pearl Fore the Kids golf tournament to benefit Camp Koinonia. As most of you know, Coach Bruce Pearl is the University of Tennessee Men’s Basketball coach. Everyone knows that UT sports isn’t just a past time around here, it’s a lifestyle. So when I was asked to do this last year, I was thrilled to say yes. Even better, they liked me so much and asked me back this year. Coach Pearl was in and out because they were preparing for their trip to Europe, so I got to hang out with Assistant Coach Tony Jones at one of the holes all day. Coach Pearl did get to take pictures with all of the teams playing as well as some of the Camp Koinonia campers. I wish I could post some of the pictures of the campers for you to see.
It costs about $475 to send a kid to camp. I believe that with this tournament, we were able to fund the entire camp for next year! If you would like to make a donation to Camp Koinonia, you can contact me and I will put you in touch with the right people.
Here are a couple of pictures of Coach Pearl and Coach Jones.

For anyone and everyone that is reading this in hopes that your pictures will pop up next, I apologize. I have had a ton of shoots and events back to back that have kept me out of the studio. I haven’t been able to work on hardly anything lately. So I’m running WAY behind. I promise that I will get everyone’s images up as soon as I can. Until then, please be patient with me…. I’M ONLY ONE PERSON!

HAHA, this is fun. Go on and “simpsonize” yourself.
While down in Marco Island, Lauren and Brian asked me to take a few pictures of their kids. Lauren grew up with Zach and they made a family vacation out of their wedding. Here are some of the shots that I took. Lauren, if you’re reading this, e-mail me all of your information because I didn’t get it before I left.
