I was in Memphis this past weekend for my cousin Joanna’s wedding. It was a lot of fun. I’m having a good time going through these pictures because I see so much “Hasty” in her, that’s the bloodline we share. For those of you who know me, you will probably see that we have similar features. Enjoy!
This is the bridal study I had last Thursday. We had such a good time. She brought her mom and friend with her and they kept us laughing! That’s always a good idea. Bring the people with you who make you feel comfortable and make you laugh. I think she looks beautiful!
I’m back in town and have some pics to show off. This was the engagement shoot I had last Wednesday out at Whitestone. We got a few shots in before the storm forced us to find shelter. However, the storm was very short and God gave us a rainbow as we were wrapping up. It was very brief, but we got a couple of shots before it faded away.

This week has just been crazy. Tuesday was my birthday, the big 27, then I had a shoot Wednesday night and another one Thursday morning, and a girls night with some wedding vendor friends last night. I’m turning around today to go to my cousin’s wedding in Memphis. I’m shooting it and I’m so excited! I’m hitching a ride with my parents out to West TN, so I’m hoping to get some work done during the 6 hour drive. Hopefully I’ll get caught up on my ever growing to-do-list!

Emily came down from New York for me to photograph her son. Ok, she was coming down anyway so I met her in Atlanta to take pictures of Emmett. I just like to think she came down solely for me to photograph them! Emily and I grew up across the street from each other. Her younger sister Mary is my childhood best friend. It’s always nice to catch up with the people you’ve known your whole life. I was also able to get a picture withe her mom and grandmother. So there are 4 generations in one picture!

I’m a little behind. I shot Ryan and Sarah’s wedding last Saturday and I’m sorry I’m just now getting some of their pictures up.
These guys are SO cute! They’re both Georgia Tech grads along with most of their bridal party. I want all of you future brides to make a note of this. Surround yourself with people who you care about and genuinely care for you. If you do that, you will have the most beautiful wedding party. These guys have so much fun together and they’re pictures that. Even Adam was talking about how beautiful he thought all were and it’s because they all truly care about Sarah and Ryan. Anyway, they were all a joy to photograph.
On a side note…MY SISTER GOT ENGAGED TODAY!!!!! I posted pictures of her and her FIANCE Adam back in March. CONGRATS YOU GUYS!!! I LOVE YOU!!

I had a great engagement shoot last monday. Jennifer and Benji are getting married the first weekend of June. They came to me with a crazy request. They are having 4 pictures from their shoot enlarged to 40×50 to hang around the reception. If anyone else would have said they wanted to do that, I would be concerned that it would be tacky….but not them! It’s going to be so great! I can’t wait to show you the finished product.

Alright. I finally finished Brian and Rachel’s wedding. I shot them last weekend, April 28th. They had this great ceremony by the river on her families farm. They are really into horses and Rachel had her pony pull her in a carriage to the ceremony. It was literally standing room only! They had chairs for their elderly guests, but everyone else just stood. It was very cool. I think that their cake was one of the best parts though. They have a little pug named Figi who is their pride and joy. They had him as the ring bearer! Anyway, the grooms cake was Figi! Magpies did an AMAZING job! Here are some of my favorites.
Which one’s the actual dog?

I’m a little out of order. Kevin and Paige got married this past Saturday and I still have a wedding from last Saturday I haven’t posted yet. So hang tight Brian and Rachel, I’ll get you up this week.
Kevin is my brother-in-law. He’s been engaged to Paige for over a year and a half. So we were all so excited that this day finally got here! I’m also so proud that my baby Noah made his debut! They asked him to be in the wedding when he was only 11 weeks old. He ran down the aisle! Then my mom promptly took him straight to the nursery for the rest of the ceremony. Anyway, here are some of my favorites.
I photographed a party last Saturday for a little boy named Ben who is in remission. He’s 5 years old and just finished his last treatment. What a brave guy! He loves cars and my friend Allison Sprouse did a great job bringing this all together. Leah McCall did great arrangements of gerbers, grass, and cars. If you would like to see all of the pictures, click here and type in the event key “celebrate”. 20% of the proceeds from online sales are going to the cancer charity of the Hirsh’s choice.
