I met Rae and her dad and brother at the Volunteer Ministry’s roast of Coach Pearl back in May. David then contacted me about doing Rae’s Bat Mitvah. I haven’t been to one since middle school! I always remember them being a blast though. Tons of teenagers hyped up on sugar and caffeine….SIGN ME UP!!!!!!! I had such a great time with them. We met on Friday and did a few shots of Rae by herself. It just so happened that her 13th birthday was the next day, she totally doesn’t look 13. After that we headed to the synagogue to get some pictures with her family (who came from all over the place) and then dinner at The Orangery after the service. The next day I met them at the Knoxville Museum of Art for the party.
I had a great time spending the weekend with y’all. SHALOHA!!!
Kristyn is a new planner in Knoxville and the owner of Panache Productions. She asked me to take some shots of her for her website. After going round and round on finding a date that we could get together, we finally were able to ge together for a little fun downtown.
I’ve had such a crazy wonderful travel schedule. After Charles and Kacey’s reception, I stayed in Atlanta so I had an extra set of hands with Noah so I could get some of this holiday rush work done. While I was down there, I got to take pictures of my cousin Amy and her husband Scott. We went down to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and had fun playing around. While we were there, they were shooting a Quaker commercial with the giant quaker man statue. I told my mom to hang around the set with Noah to see if maybe they wanted to toss the most handsome baby ever created in there, but they didn’t. Oh well, their loss. Anyway, here are my favorite pictures from my fun session with Scott and Amy.
My friend Leah asked me to take some more pictures of her little girl Madeline. Of course I said yes. Not just because Leah’s my friend, but because I always have fun playing with Madeline. We usually only have a limited amount of time to shoot because, well, she’s 3 and her moods change so quickly. Anyway, we had a ton of fun playing around at their family’s farm.
I’m about to fly down to Tampa to photograph a school down there. I wanted to make sure I got Miranda and Lindsey’s pictures up before I left though.
Miranda was one of the girls on my hall when I was an RA at Carson-Newman. She called me a couple of weeks ago because she wanted me to do some pictures of her and her sister. So we went out and had such a good time. I sometimes have a hard time getting people to give me a good genuine laugh, but I couldn’t get these two to STOP laughing!
Enjoy!
yuck, sister cooties!

I just got back from a destination wedding in Clearwater, FL last night. Since I had to go out of town, I’m way behind. So people who are waiting on things from me, please forgive me. I promise that I will be with you soon!
I had a great senior shoot the other day before I left. I don’t normally do senior portraits, but I’ve been having a lot of interest lately. We had such a great time! We went to different locations around downtown Knoxville and just played. We ended up at the fountains in World’s Fair Park. ATTENTION ADULTS WHO THINK IT’S FUNNY TO SPLASH FULLY CLOTHED PEOPLE!!!!!! Make sure that there’s not a person with an extremely expensive camera in the direction you’re splashing! No harm, no foul. I had Kelsey bring a couple of “props” that represented who she is. So she brought her camera, pom poms, and boyfriend Cody. For those of you who plan on having me do some individual shoots in the future, this is a great idea. So start planning on the things that you want to bring.
