I’m not going to give you all the full story because I don’t know if well enough to tell.  So here’s the Cliff’s Notes version.

Fellow Tennessee photographer Alison Bynum and her husband adopted a beautiful baby girl, Norah, last year.  They just received a phone call that Norah is going to be a big sister…a biological big sister.  That’s right, Norah’s birth mother is due any day and she wants Alison and her husband to be the adoptive parents.  They have till tomorrow, Friday October 3rd, to raise the rest of the $12,000 they need to adopt.  Last I heard, they were short $7,500.  To get the full story and if you feel led to help them out, CLICK HERE AND GIVE.

**UPDATE**  They have currently raised $7500 and need $4500 more.  I’ll post again when I get a new number.

**UPDATE 10.10.08** They did it!  As of this past sunday, they raised $12,600 to adopt Norah’s baby brother or sister!

Here’s a pic of Norah I snagged from her blog…she’s so cute!

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful opportunity on your site. In times of not so happy news, it is truly amazing that good things will not be stopped. I am certainly biased, but the support shown in prayer, words and financial support has also been overwhelming.

Thank you. Karen King (Alison’s mom)
